The CVB Lab promotes the learning and system development in the field of Computer Vision and Biometrics. The research community is constantly working to exchange ideas and become accustomed to the field through formal interactions with the experts of the domain. The lab works as a channel to bring project funding from Government and Private sectors, which will facilitate member students, faculty and researchers to work on the real world problems in a collaborative environment. The lab is executing the research projects funded by DRDO, DST, MHA, GITA, etc. Three international research projects, i.e. India-Germany, India-Slovenia, and India-Taiwan, are currently being executed. The CVB Lab is very active in the organization of scietific events such as Conferences (IAPR CVMI 2022, IAPR CVIP 2020, IEEE CICT 2019, and IEEE UPCON 2015), and Short-Term courses (ADASIVA 5-Times and IEEE SPS School on Biometrics).
